Doesn't she look happy! So after a very mild winter we finally have some snow and really cold temps. Last week school was cancelled two days, not for snow but for cold weather. Morning temps were below zero with -33 degree
windchill. We aren't used to that in Denver, and it is very rare that they ever close schools. So we were stuck at home unable to go outside and enjoy the snow until today. We were so excited to put on all the snow gear and go out. Caroline here is taking her first few steps.....

and here is where she ended up! She wasn't happy and kept saying "no snow!" So much for making snow angels.

However, this girl was having a blast minus the fact she couldn't keep her gloves on! Graham (my AZ boy) was trying to build a snow cave with her and the fact that he is from Arizona really showed. It was more of a snow stadium:) Next snow, I will have to have a making a snowman and snow cave lesson for him!

We woke up to another six inches this morning and more snow is predicted for Tues along with temps in the teens. I have to say that spring break vacation to Arizona can't some soon enough!

So many kids at Hannah's ice skating lesson looked just like Caroline's first pic--then they got onto the ice and looked much more like the 2nd one. :) Sarah used to be against snow, but she's right out with the rest of them now. I can't believe they can almost all 3 dress themselves completely in their snow stuff now. I see the light! We are supposed to have a little more snow & cold, but warm up and start melting some next weekend--yay!
Snow is SO pretty!! :) When are you coming to AZ? Hopefully for spring training. ;) ;)
dang, i wish we had just a little of that snow. looks kinda fun but really cold!
