Graham is done with school for the semester, so we celebrated with our first date night since February. We went up to Blackhawk, ate and ate at the buffet, then hit the penny slots, and ended with some video poker. It was so much fun. Then today we had a date with the girls. I am not exaggerating when I say we haven't had spring, and today was the first warm and sunny day in a while. So, we headed to the zoo.
My favorite story of the day was from Julia. Currently she is obsessed with the color pink. If you ask her what color her new room is going to be her response is, "ALL PINK!" So the other day she was standing on one leg and I commented that she looked like a flamingo. She is in that stage where she wants to learn about everything, so we have been talking a lot about flamingos. She of course loves them because they are pink! Today all she wanted to see at the zoo were the elephants and the flamingos. When we finally got to see the flamingos she makes the comment, "Flamingos like to eat algae." Very random. Both Graham and I assumed that the other one had told her that. When we figured out that neither one had told her about the algae, Graham looked at her and said, " Julia that is a really big word where did you learn that?" Her response.... "Diego!" Gotta love television. At least she is learning something:)

We went to the zoo this weekend too! A bird pooped on me and it looked like he might have eaten some algae. ha ha. We are closing just a few days before you(but moving in a month behind you). Can't wait to hear you are getting all settled!
