Best friends for life??? Who knows. The thing we were most stressed about in bringing a baby home was how our other baby would react. It turned out to be the easiest transition of all. Here is a picture of Lucy sitting next to her new friend, maybe not best friend as of yet, but sitting guarding Julia in her car seat. The first nights were rough on the good ole dog who had to get up at every cry or feeding. By the second day Lucy couldn't keep her eyes open. Now, it is old hat and she doesn't even stir when the rest of us have to get up for those nightly feedings and diaper changes. Just wait to Julia starts crawling and walking, and then Lucy isn't going to know what happened.
