Julia is Four!

Julia got her first pair of Rollerblades. Thank goodness we have a basement because the last couple of weeks we have finally gotten some snow! Graham Rollerblades in the cul de sac frequently and Julia wants to be just like him. Don't worry she has lots of pads:)
Just in case you ever want to know a cheap place to have a birthday party, McDonald's has a great bargain. Just picture your child's bday three days after Christmas after arriving home days before from a week vacay. I am so glad I decided to do this because there was no stress involved! A great deal, so check into it. And if you are worried about the health factor.... don't worry because the kiddos definitely worked off the calories!

Our party guests. This was Julia's first bday party that we invited friends. The perk of having a birthday around Christmas is that we have always been able to have a party with lots of family.

The Birthday girl coming down the slide. She was so excited for her party and I still can't believe she is four.

And of course Caroline had a great time, but was so frustrated she couldn't climb to the big slides. It was a great day. Happy birthday Julia!

aww Happy Day! She is so grown up. Speaking of little Caroline.. I used to let River, age 3, and Nora, 18 mos., go all the way to the top at McD's. There was nothing else to do sometimes, in La Grande. It was a good time waster. Sure, they got stuck a couple of times and I was forced to crawl up there too.
